CT Woman Seriously Injured After Being Pinned Between Landscaping Truck, Trailer, Police Say

An employee of a lawn service company was hospitalized with serious injuries after a crash caused her to be pinned between a trailer and truck in Connecticut.

The crash happened on Baldwin Hill Road in Litchfield at about 10:10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 19, according to Connecticut State Police.

A 2015 Porsche Macan Turbo was northbound on Baldwin Hill Road when it struck a 2012 Ford F-250 Super Duty, a landscape trailer and truck that was parked on the right side of the road, police reported. 

Authorities said a 31-year-old Torrington woman, who is an employee of a lawn service company, was standing at the back of the Ford, and she was pinned between the trailer and the truck due to the impact of the crash. 

The woman was taken to Waterbury Hospital, police said. 

The driver of the Porsche, a 66-year-old Litchfield man, sustained minor injuries and refused additional medical attention at the scene, police said.

The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
